Japan Best Tsukamoto Kamacco Donabe Rice Cooker Large - Black

Japan Best Tsukamoto Kamacco Donabe Rice Cooker Large - Black

This handcrafted ceramic rice cooker offers a beautifully simple way to prepare fluffy, perfectly steamed rice the traditional Japanese way—right at home. Designed with modern kitchens in mind, it features a clever double-lid system that not only ensures optimal steam retention, but also doubles as measuring tools: the smaller inner lid for rice, and the outer lid for water. Once the rice is cooked, the top lid can also be used as a serving bowl.

Made using Mashiko pottery by Tsukamoto, the clay is rich in silicate and iron, giving the pot exceptional durability and heat resistance. Heavier than other Japanese pottery, Mashiko ware has a satisfying sturdiness that adds to the cooking experience and helps retain even heat distribution.

Available in two sizes, this rice cooker is as functional as it is elegant—ideal for daily meals, special gatherings, or simply elevating the humble bowl of rice into something extraordinary.
