Made from 15oz selvedge denim woven on vintage looms, this edition embodies the raw authenticity of early 1900s workwear—revived with unique fabrications and meticulous detailing. The denim is non-shrinking, anti-kinking, anti-twisting, for a rich, tactile finish that holds true to the legacy of "live machine" weaving.
This special edition introduces the Yarn Series, crafted using two rare and expressive yarns: nep yarn and slub yarn. This is the Nep yarn version, which features visible cotton neps scattered through both the warp and weft, with brown cotton weft threads creating a richly textured, uneven surface. This is an original selvedge denim creation, embodying a depth and character rarely found in modern denim.
Taking inspiration from early 20th-century workwear, these jeans retain historical integrity with smart updates. Reinforced rivets have shifted from exposed back pockets to hidden placements, while the original cinch-back detail has migrated to the yoke.
