Originally designed by Alfredo Cappello, the Magnifico was conceived as a boot that could transition seamlessly from rugged outdoor use to daily wear. Its blend of strength, comfort, and refined style impressed so much that Alfredo’s wife called it “magnifico” — a name that’s endured ever since.

Handcrafted in Italy by Antonio and Michele Cappello, each pair is cut from a single piece of premium vegetable-tanned Toscano Corteccia calf leather. This approach enhances durability while giving every boot a unique character that softens beautifully over time. The leather lining and Italian “Cuoio” calf insole allow the foot to breathe naturally, ensuring comfort through years of wear. Built using a military-inspired stitch technique for superior strength, the boots are finished with a Moro (brown) Roccia outsole — milled by hand for precision and balance — and are fully resoleable for lifelong use.

Each pair includes two sets of laces (flat brown and flat rosso red) and a complimentary polishing brush. Every step of the process, from cutting to finishing, reflects Fracap’s dedication to traditional methods and true Italian quality.
